Three Fun ways with Gift Wrapping!
Aaaah gift wrapping…it’s such a special past time for so many of us at Christmas! I always find that Christmas is a great time to get creative and hands-on with your gift wrapping.
Christmas is also a special time to get the kids involved in some festive craft projects. So for this blog, I’ve developed a few ways to creatively wrap your gifts, that the kids can totally help with. And just think you’ll end up with such fun and appealing gifts sitting under your tree!
DIY Festive Holly:
Wrap you gift in plain paper and tie with twine.
Cut coloured card into the shape of holly leaves. I used plain card in pastel shades.
Use a hot glue to add the leaves to the centre of the gift.
Now add pom pom as berries, also with the hot glue gun.
Festive bunting:
Wrap you gift in plain paper.
Tape some twine across the front of the present.
Cut little triangles out of coloured card.
Use pegs to attach the triangles in a line, in the shape of bunting.
Painted Paper:
Take large sheets of paper, and paint simple shapes. You can be pretty rough with how precise these shapes are. I tried triangles with a simple brushstroke trunk, which I turned into Christmas trees. I also did festive stars.
Once the paint has dried, use a pen to draw the shapes over the top, which make them pop! Black or white pen looks great.
Use this as your wrapping paper.
You can add embellishments, like little stars as christmas tree toppers.
I love how this type of gift wrapping is so easy to do with kids. Even if they are young and do really wobbly shapes, when you add the crisp pen it looks so great!
Supplies
You can get everything you need for this gift wrapping project from Warehouse Stationery. Some key items I used:

Large white paper sheets: Impact Desk Pad 55gsm 50 Leaf White A2
A4 Card: Trophee 160gsm
Pom poms: these were in some Kookie craft packs: Kookie Craft Jar Pretty In Pink
Have fun wrapping your gifts this Christmas! I hope this blog has inspired you to turn the task into something fun and enjoyable, that you can get your children involved in.
